The Lighter Side of JzB

Every day visits*
From Moose, Goose, and Orb Weaver
All seized by Haiku

"Why moose and goose?" you may ask. Back on 2/04/13 Pirate wrote a haiku with an elk in it, and I responded with
one with a moose and then included him every day. A few days later in comments Mystic asked "Where's the goose?"
So I started including her with this post on 2/07. A week later on the 14th, Mark Readfern
asked for and received a spider. The rest is history.

*Well, most days, anyway. Grant me a bit of poetic license.

 Pampas Grass (Susuki)

my little green lawn
dreams about the pampas grass
i dream of the stars

exotic dancers
swaying on the pampas

Carpe Diem #296

  1. Lovely...I could almost see them swaying and dancing! :)

  2. My wife hates pampas grass, so she'd be dreaming of the stars with you!

Pampas Grass #1 and Pampas Grass #2

  3. Oh I love your first one. I'm sure my little courtyard has dreams of pampas grass too!

  4. The first one is a real gem... the contrast is so great... creating that haiku --- aaah

  5. Great and they actually could make one poem.

  6. WOW! That first haiku is awesome and ... I am speechless.

    1. Love to use that first haiku in our upcoming Tan Renga Challenge Month if that's ok?

  7. Yes, JzB, the first one really sings - in every way. The second one is also very vivid and beautiful but the first one just stays on the back of mind :)

  8. Both are unique and I love #1...

  9. i missed this haiku set the first time around so great that Kristjaan featured it the Tan Renga series. ☺ thank you, lovely and joy to work in a completion.
