The Lighter Side of JzB

Every day visits*
From Moose, Goose, and Orb Weaver
All seized by Haiku

"Why moose and goose?" you may ask. Back on 2/04/13 Pirate wrote a haiku with an elk in it, and I responded with
one with a moose and then included him every day. A few days later in comments Mystic asked "Where's the goose?"
So I started including her with this post on 2/07. A week later on the 14th, Mark Readfern
asked for and received a spider. The rest is history.

*Well, most days, anyway. Grant me a bit of poetic license.

Sensational Haiku Wednesday - Addiction

Can't do without her.
Might as well admit it: I'm
Addicted to love.

A deep craving from
Within - what is that thing that
You can't do without?

Minor seventh chords,
Tritones, altered fifths and ninths:
Addicted to JAZZ

Join the fun!

  1. AGREED with all three! (only... I'm not addicted to your wife. That'd be weird) Great haiku!

Thanks for your comment to Sherry on my guest post - very nice, and I agree with you that she can write... only wish she'd chosen a better subject :)

  2. Wonderful haikus! I especially love the last. :)

  3. What fabulous addictions and literary mastery. Addicted to love and JAZZ. So few words you use to say so very much. Keen ideas and wonderful haikus! Enjoyed them!

  4. Love all three ~~ well done!!

  5. Great mix of positive addictions there!
