Every day visits*
From Moose, Goose, and Orb Weaver
All seized by Haiku

"Why moose and goose?" you may ask. Back on 2/04/13 Pirate wrote a haiku with an elk in it, and I responded with
one with a moose and then included him every day. A few days later in comments Mystic asked "Where's the goose?"
So I started including her with this post on 2/07. A week later on the 14th, Mark Readfern
asked for and received a spider. The rest is history.

*Well, most days, anyway. Grant me a bit of poetic license.

  2. Everyone seems to be gravitating to the shadows. That's where I'd be, too.

    Very nice composition to this photo.

  3. For some reason, it looks hot there, despite the shadows. It's probably my imagination...

    BITS OF SHADOW

    Bits of shadow and blasts of light,
    Morning and evening, noon and night;

    Days of darkness, gloomy and drear;
    Sometimes bright ones, bringing good cheer;

    Spring or winter, summer or fall,
    Light or shadow—embrace them all!

  4. LV - Thank you, and welcome.

    Kelly - Thanks. Come to the not-quite-dark side.

    Mystic - It was a warm day - not hot by SW standards.

    This was a little side trip on our way home from Black Lake.

    Cheers!

  5. Having been born in Michigan I love this photo! I'm actually popping on from 6WS, but had to comment here ...last time I was there I searched for the famous stones...I wanted new ones for my collection!

This is a fun blog. Light-hearted banter is welcome. Snark is not. If you want to fight, find my other blog.

Play nice, and we'll all have fun.

I like to return visit, when I can - but I need to find you. If you have multiple blogs, please leave a direct link to the appropriate post.

Cheers!
