Every day visits*
From Moose, Goose, and Orb Weaver
All seized by Haiku

"Why moose and goose?" you may ask. Back on 2/04/13 Pirate wrote a haiku with an elk in it, and I responded with
one with a moose and then included him every day. A few days later in comments Mystic asked "Where's the goose?"
So I started including her with this post on 2/07. A week later on the 14th, Mark Readfern
asked for and received a spider. The rest is history.

*Well, most days, anyway. Grant me a bit of poetic license.

Six Word Saturday

I have a terrible head cold.

And I have to play tonight.

Drat! The show must go on.

Valentine's Day dinner and dance party.

Well - at least they're feeding me.

And my date - the Lovely Wife.

  1. Hey! Six sixes...That's a lot of six words there!! I hope the show goes well and the head cold isn't too much of an issue.

  2. I think my favorite is "Well-at least they're feeding me" too cute. Sorry you feel down, hope the headache goes away before the show starts! Break a leg!

  3. Hope it went well. It stinks having to perform when you don't feel well.

Thanks for playing 6WS - nice new blog!

  4. Thanks, all.

It was a nice event at a Presbyterian church. The youth group were the wait staff - really nice bunch of kids. Dunner was a salad, lasagna, green beans, roll and butter. There was an awesome array of deserts.

The audience included pre-schoolers up to octogenarians. Everyone appreciated the big band music. It was a sweet event.

    Cheers!

  6. If you had to sing, you'd be in the proverbial pickle, but you only had to play--and I'm sure you did well despite feeling like, uh, ...

This is a fun blog. Light-hearted banter is welcome. Snark is not. If you want to fight, find my other blog.

Play nice, and we'll all have fun.

I like to return visit, when I can - but I need to find you. If you have multiple blogs, please leave a direct link to the appropriate post.

Cheers!
