Every day visits*
From Moose, Goose, and Orb Weaver
All seized by Haiku

"Why moose and goose?" you may ask. Back on 2/04/13 Pirate wrote a haiku with an elk in it, and I responded with
one with a moose and then included him every day. A few days later in comments Mystic asked "Where's the goose?"
So I started including her with this post on 2/07. A week later on the 14th, Mark Readfern
asked for and received a spider. The rest is history.

*Well, most days, anyway. Grant me a bit of poetic license.

Haiku Heights

April A2Z Heights - Day 10 - Incense

Seven funerals or memorial services in eight months

Too many sad times

  1. My condolences for so many losses in such a short time.
It brings to mind, back in the day, it was my job to answer the phone at work, and it seemed that for the longest time, I was giving the boss the message that someone had passed, or he told me of another friend or relative passing. It was such a difficult time...you must be experiencing the same "I don't want to hear the phone ring any more" type reaction.

Thanks for sharing...it brought back my memory long tucked away of how difficult it can be sometimes as we age and losses come not in 3's but clumps of threes.

Peace be with you and your family,
    Siggi

  2. Condolences on the losses you have experienced.
Funerals take over the Engagements and Weddings now, sadly I know.
I can understand why you wrote this perfect Haiku.

If you wish to view mine it is here - thank you and take care.
