From Moose, Goose, and Orb Weaver
All seized by Haiku

"Why moose and goose?" you may ask. Back on 2/04/13 Pirate wrote a haiku with an elk in it, and I responded with
one with a moose and then included him every day. A few days later in comments Mystic asked "Where's the goose?"
So I started including her with this post on 2/07. A week later on the 14th, Mark Readfern
asked for and received a spider. The rest is history.

*Well, most days, anyway. Grant me a bit of poetic license.

great for a fling
always ready for adventure
unfaithful lover

mercurial one
ardent in your love today
tomorrow who knows

o gemini
why are there two of you
in one body

~ 4 ~

second game
can the tigers take two straight
from the twins*

~ 5 ~


 jamie and cersei
love kept in the family
which one is evil

~ 6 ~

moose and goose
do not look at all alike
but have twin spirits

~ 7 ~

orb weaver meets
her equally hungry twin
which one survives

bonus:
As an afterthought it occurred to me that my mother is a twin,
but she and her sister are taurus not gemini.
They are the last remaining of nine siblings.

    Fortunately, my not-quite-91-year-old aunt does not read this blog. As I think it through, it's probably also fortunate that her slightly younger twin sister does not either.
