Every day visits*
From Moose, Goose, and Orb Weaver
All seized by Haiku

"Why moose and goose?" you may ask. Back on 2/04/13 Pirate wrote a haiku with an elk in it, and I responded with
one with a moose and then included him every day. A few days later in comments Mystic asked "Where's the goose?"
So I started including her with this post on 2/07. A week later on the 14th, Mark Readfern
asked for and received a spider. The rest is history.

*Well, most days, anyway. Grant me a bit of poetic license.

Carpe Diem #679

in the dark of night

lighting one candle
a better alternative
than cursing the dark

[rephrased catholic aphorism remembered from my youth]

  1. Great haiku -- stunning reflections photo :)

  2. I'm all for the lighting of candles. Even if they don't do much to banish the darkness completely, at least they cast a comforting glow.

  3. The light, the light. Nicely done!

  4. a lovely couple .. I like how you've done your photos! Bastet

  5. The first pure poetry and the second sound, very sound. Both are serious, without frivolity, and enjoyed very much.

  6. Hope you had a good drink and maybe a cigar for the time of contemplation.

  7. Candles are great to shine a little bit light into a dark world, but they also provide us with romance ... nice set JzB

This is a fun blog. Light-hearted banter is welcome. Snark is not. If you want to fight, find my other blog.

Play nice, and we'll all have fun.
