The Lighter Side of JzB

Every day visits*
From Moose, Goose, and Orb Weaver
All seized by Haiku

"Why moose and goose?" you may ask. Back on 2/04/13 Pirate wrote a haiku with an elk in it, and I responded with
one with a moose and then included him every day. A few days later in comments Mystic asked "Where's the goose?"
So I started including her with this post on 2/07. A week later on the 14th, Mark Readfern
asked for and received a spider. The rest is history.

*Well, most days, anyway. Grant me a bit of poetic license.

Carpe Diem #239

  1. That second haiku is in my opinion the best, I like the imagery you've painted in there.

  2. I do like that old man :)

  3. thanks for clearing up the color for curious - I had been most curious about that :) but now I wonder...

  4. Curiosity kills the Cat! Why the cat and not another creature! They're all curious, too! Nicely JzB!

  5. Like Spider, I'm ready for the next morsel too, although I would prefer it not to be a fly!

  6. Enjoyed all of them. Second is lovely. Last is awesome!

  7. I wonder right along with the old man! Wonderful set JZB as always!
And cheers to you too, my friend! Thanks for the Mel Torme!Curious

  8. the 2nd - closest to classical haiku.... the rest were intelligent and amusing....I think jon snow knows more than he lets on.....

  9. The second one is perfect. I really love it and I believe it to hold a lot of truth.

  10. Love the spider, and if you see mine, you will know why I love the cat haiku.

  11. I love the Jon Snow reference.
