Every day visits*
From Moose, Goose, and Orb Weaver
All seized by Haiku

"Why moose and goose?" you may ask. Back on 2/04/13 Pirate wrote a haiku with an elk in it, and I responded with
one with a moose and then included him every day. A few days later in comments Mystic asked "Where's the goose?"
So I started including her with this post on 2/07. A week later on the 14th, Mark Readfern
asked for and received a spider. The rest is history.

*Well, most days, anyway. Grant me a bit of poetic license.

Carpe Diem #221, Hotaru (Firefly)

Bassman Paul Keller with his quintet and big band were regulars at The Firefly Club in Ann Arbor.  Obviously, this is a different venue.

with no light but fireflies
illicit lovers

  1. These are delightful! The second haiku is a masterpiece, in my opinion. Lovely for moose and goose. Poor firefly but happy spider. ♥

  2. These are wonderful JzB, I like the third haiku the most, very romantic.

  3. I like the second and the 2nd third. They feel like fireflies.

  4. "flying lanterns" the most awesome description for fireflies I've ever read.

I like to return visit, when I can - but I need to find you. If you have multiple blogs, please leave a direct link to the appropriate post.

Cheers!
