Inspirational haiku by Kikusha-Ni.
lost in the woods
only the sound of a leaf
falling on my hat
Inspired haiku by JzB
~ 1 ~
alone in the woods
beyond the arching boughs
storm clouds gather
~ 2 ~
alone in the woods
old man finds a fallen branch
new walking stick
~ 3 ~
in the deep still woods
even moose and goose
remain silent
~ 4 ~
alone but not lost
in the depth of the woods
spider spins her home
~ 5 ~
For Arya Stark
deep in the woods
dire wolf gathers her pack
warg Nymeria
alone in the woods
beyond the arching boughs
storm clouds gather
~ 2 ~
alone in the woods
old man finds a fallen branch
new walking stick
~ 3 ~
in the deep still woods
even moose and goose
remain silent
~ 4 ~
alone but not lost
in the depth of the woods
spider spins her home
~ 5 ~
For Arya Stark
deep in the woods
dire wolf gathers her pack
warg Nymeria

These are ALL good - and a serious vein here...
ReplyDeleteI adore number 1. Pure haiku
ReplyDeleteDo wargs ever wag their tail? Or their tales?
ReplyDeleteLost in the Forest
Thanks, friends.
ReplyDeleteTales, for sure . . .
Wonderful work! The first of yours is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteOh! They are beautiful. I particularly loved the first and the fourth one. :)
ReplyDeleteThat spider does it for me JzB. Really wonderful haiku with different sights on 'lost in the wood' of Kikusha-Ni.
ReplyDeleteI agree! This poem suggested all of the emotions you describe - like a good haiku often does! Your responses are spot on! Every one - although, the first is my favorite!
ReplyDeleteI love these JzB and am eagerly awaiting today;s last in series three :)
ReplyDeleteAll inspired. I like the first best:)
ReplyDeleteMoose and Goose awestruck--now that's a first!
ReplyDeleteSombrero
Very nice set -- our minds are on the same wavelength with the first. I also like the walking stick!! :)
ReplyDeleteI like them all! I seem to be very fond of moose and goose but tough to pick favorite because they all affect me in a different way. Nicely done!
ReplyDeleteWonderfully penned, JzB. My favourite still being the first one - there's something about those gathering storm clouds...
ReplyDeleteI love them all. images portrayed are easily seen.
