Every day visits*
From Moose, Goose, and Orb Weaver
All seized by Haiku

"Why moose and goose?" you may ask. Back on 2/04/13 Pirate wrote a haiku with an elk in it, and I responded with
one with a moose and then included him every day. A few days later in comments Mystic asked "Where's the goose?"
So I started including her with this post on 2/07. A week later on the 14th, Mark Readfern
asked for and received a spider. The rest is history.

*Well, most days, anyway. Grant me a bit of poetic license.

  1. So love the musical thread in the first two haiku. A fun way of representing the freedom struggle in music. And I guess a fly has its own freedom challenge too. Cursed web!

  2. Good to have you back, JzB. Were you communing with moose and goose? That little orb weaver takes all prisoners... ;-O

    1. We were communing with ducks, gulls, toads and minnows.

Oh - plus flies and spiders, of course.

We did see an eagle though, for a brief instant.

      That was a highlight moment.

      Cheers!

  3. Number 3 sounds very appealing to me right now. Unfortunately, finances being what they are, retirement is not in my immediate future. Maybe when I'm 90! :)

  4. Glad you had fun JzB and welcome back to the fold.

You made me think how music liberates, yet it is also confined...even for jazz players ;)

    sweet liberation

  5. I am retired, and find the freedom a bit overwhelming at times...but wouldn't trade my life for anything....that damn spider gives no quarter, eh?

  6. Oh my! does this mean you are adding a verse with jazz riffs? I'm delighted! And delighted you are back!
