The Lighter Side of JzB

Every day visits*
From Moose, Goose, and Orb Weaver
All seized by Haiku

"Why moose and goose?" you may ask. Back on 2/04/13 Pirate wrote a haiku with an elk in it, and I responded with
one with a moose and then included him every day. A few days later in comments Mystic asked "Where's the goose?"
So I started including her with this post on 2/07. A week later on the 14th, Mark Readfern
asked for and received a spider. The rest is history.

*Well, most days, anyway. Grant me a bit of poetic license.

Haiku Heights No 279 - Teacher

school of hard knocks
the most effective teacher
but the price is high

Haiku Heights #279 ~ September Heights Day 06 ~ Teacher

  1. Love your persistent upbeat rifs, Yes, dear. Experience is just like this.

    flunked the moose test had
    bad luck after mashed spider
    then the geese chased me

My HH is not so funny as yours:

    1. tsk, tsk
see what happens when you mess with my critters

  2. I think it's worth paying the price.. well said..

  3. JzB distills
    his philosophy and ideas
    into wise words

    never missing a chance
to coax a smile or a belly laugh!

  4. Most of us end up paying the price, sooner or later.

  5. I think we were on the same wave length !
    Like your quote...
and true the school of hard knocks
    a hard but faithful teacher.

  6. To err is human and we are never out of this school!! ;) There could hardly be an A-grader here!! Learning my lessons too!! :)
