At that time our granddaughter Rebekka has just landed a role as one of the apple trees in The Wizard of Oz, if you remember that scene. [If not, you can see it and some of my doggerel at the link above.]
My scarecrow ideas for today:
~ 1 ~
to scare a scarecrow
the wicked witch need only
produce a small fire
~ 2 ~

All very delightful haiku about 'scarecrow' and glad to see moose and goose are doing well ~ carol, xo
ReplyDeleteWow, I really like all of these, and glad to see I'm not the only one who went all Oz. I didn't grow up seeing scarecrows except for Ray Bolger so it's where my mind always goes.
ReplyDeleteThe scornful magpies are my favorite this evening. Maybe I'm in a dark mood...
ReplyDeleteOld Strawhead
These are awesome thoughts from many perspectives about the scarecrow. I related to all in some way.
ReplyDeleteI love your collection of haiku on the scarecrow.
