Every day visits*
From Moose, Goose, and Orb Weaver
All seized by Haiku

"Why moose and goose?" you may ask. Back on 2/04/13 Pirate wrote a haiku with an elk in it, and I responded with
one with a moose and then included him every day. A few days later in comments Mystic asked "Where's the goose?"
So I started including her with this post on 2/07. A week later on the 14th, Mark Readfern
asked for and received a spider. The rest is history.

*Well, most days, anyway. Grant me a bit of poetic license.

Carpe Diem #138, Neko no Koi (cats in love)

~ 1 ~

tom on the prowl
fine with any queen he finds
ally cat morals

~ 2 ~

beneath my window
cats make a sound like someone
torturing babies

~ 3 ~

cute little kittens
nasty metamorphosis
grow up to be cats

~ 4 ~

caterwauling
moose and goose escape
deep into the woods
 
~ 5 ~

when cats mate
the spider is grateful
not to have ears

    My dad was fond of quoting this poem. It may be of Ogden Nash vintage:

    It soon grows up to be a cat!
