in hazy moonlight
long ago beneath a tree
our first kiss

in hazy moonlight
I see my wife and know
her beauty endures
~ 3 ~
in hazy moonlight
even the mighty oak tree
casts no shadow

our first kiss

silhouette of wings
against the hazy moon
a lunar moth
~ 5 ~
the hazy moon glows
wispy clouds float overhead
a proud cat prances
~ 6 ~
in hazy moonlight
the brown moose and the white goose
both seem to be grey

rings of haze
surround the glowing moon
inspire orb weaver
