The Lighter Side of JzB

Every day visits*
From Moose, Goose, and Orb Weaver
All seized by Haiku

"Why moose and goose?" you may ask. Back on 2/04/13 Pirate wrote a haiku with an elk in it, and I responded with
one with a moose and then included him every day. A few days later in comments Mystic asked "Where's the goose?"
So I started including her with this post on 2/07. A week later on the 14th, Mark Readfern
asked for and received a spider. The rest is history.

*Well, most days, anyway. Grant me a bit of poetic license.

Friday Flash 55

ALAS, INDEED!

Alas, poor Yorick!
Was he stabbed?  Poisoned?

Who knows? But still dead

Then .  .  .
He lost his head

Was he worse off then Marie Antoinette?
Or better?

Having seen dear friends
Devolve into dementia where they

Hallucinate
Forget their family members
Can’t find the bathroom

I’ve come to appreciate the virtues
Of a nice clean beheading

As Curley Howard used to say...
"Id rather be burned at the stake.
Because a Hot Steak is better than a Cold Chop!"
    Loved your Dark Whimsy 55

  4. You have something here. As Neil Young sang, "It's better to burn out than to fade away."

  5. Well, a good question well stated. Funny and thoughtful at the same time, which makes for the best of both in my opinion.

  7. Again, without the typos:
Succinct, sad and true. Excellent 55.

This is a fun blog. Light-hearted banter is welcome. Snark is not. If you want to fight, find my other blog.

Play nice, and we'll all have fun.

I like to return visit, when I can - but I need to find you. If you have multiple blogs, please leave a direct link to the appropriate post.

Cheers!
