Every day visits*
From Moose, Goose, and Orb Weaver
All seized by Haiku

"Why moose and goose?" you may ask. Back on 2/04/13 Pirate wrote a haiku with an elk in it, and I responded with
one with a moose and then included him every day. A few days later in comments Mystic asked "Where's the goose?"
So I started including her with this post on 2/07. A week later on the 14th, Mark Readfern
asked for and received a spider. The rest is history.

*Well, most days, anyway. Grant me a bit of poetic license.

Trifextra: Week Fifty-Eight

STONE

castle walls once proud
defending lord and peasants alike

stout armies dashed themselves
to death against your stone rigidity

but you were not so impenetrable
as to keep out rats fleas and plague

  2. I like this-your take is so different:-)The contrast in stone's rigidity/impenetrability on one hand & weakness on the other,is expressed so beautifully:-)

  3. I love your take on the prompt. And so true that strong stones can be so easily defeated.

  7. Well done. In this case, stone is formidable, but so vulnerable. Kind of like some people I've known :)

Play nice, and we'll all have fun.

I like to return visit, when I can - but I need to find you. If you have multiple blogs, please leave a direct link to the appropriate post.

Cheers!
